Situated on Hovard Road, Maleny, we have six luxuriously appointed private and separate cabins all at reasonable rates and all joined to the main building by a covered walkway.

Spoil yourself – everything you need to relax completely is at your fingertips – our cabins feature private decks, open spa bathrooms all overlooking scenic valley views.  Wake up each morning to this special view & enjoy a free hot breakfast served out on the deck or adjacent in our main dining room, again overlooking the valley.

We have just spent 3 nights at Top of the Hill and would recommend to others. Loved the breakfasts cooked by Chris served on the deck with a lovely view. The shower and spa with a view over rolling hills was great as was sitting out on the balcony and watching the sunset. If you want relaxation in a great location with warm and welcoming hosts, stay here.

I stayed here for my 6 year anniversary with my partner and were very well looked after by Trish and Chris. Their service and dedication are bar none and they make you feel so welcome. The cabins themselves are very homely and comfortable, with amazing views, a comfy bed and complimentary toiletries, robes etc. Breakfast is included every morning with various options incl omelettes, English brekky, vegan brekky and pancakes. Percolated Maleny coffee and tea are offered as well. Due to the location, comfort and fantastic service we received from Trish and Chris I’ll definitely be coming back in future, and I really recommend you do the same!

I didn’t know what we would see when we checked in late last night in the dark & fog. What a surprise!! About Maleny on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland.

Maleny is situated high on the Blackall Range in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. The weather in the mountains is changeable, and guests are reminded to bring a jacket and tracksuit all year round. From Top of the Hill, there are lots of things to see and do around Maleny and its environs, e.g.:

Mary Cairncross Park – just minutes up the road, with its beautiful walks through majestic rain forest where you can make friends with the pademelons and try to identify the many birds that live here, including the magnificent regent bower bird.

Gardner’s Falls – on Gardner’s Lane just off the main road to Maleny. Take your lunch and enjoy a picnic on the grassy banks of the Obi Obi Creek, or swim with the locals in the cool swimming hole below the waterfall.
